Count me in! I love Julie Andrews! She’s so versatile and she has such a wonderful voice. It’s sad that she can’t sing anymore. Still, I’ll always be a fan. I loved her in Princess Diaries. It was nice to see her sing again. I think one of my favorite films of hers is Thoroughly Modern Millie. I also have Cinderella. I played the stepmother in my high school production of Cinderella. Of course, I have The Sound of Music as well.
A link to this contest is what first brought me to this blog. What a great idea. Julie Andrews is so talented–not just musically, but her children’s novels are wonderful!
I love Julie Andrews! I saw her in the most recent Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I wanted to buy her book and have her sign it when she did the signing at Macy’s, but didn’t get time to. I’m sure she’s a wonderful writer, though, if she is just as talented in that as she is in her acting and singing. She seems to be pretty wonderful with children too. I just have to admire her spirit. There’s just something about her that makes her stand out.
