Family Guy meets Musical Theater: “Shipoopi”
OK, well since the tap dance video I posted was so popular, I guess I’ll have to make this a recurring post! I’ll try to post a funny video every week.
Here’s another one of my favorites: Family Guy does “Shipoopi” from “The Music Man”. What I love about this clip, like the other one, is that they don’t just do a 15 second rendition….this clip is over 2 minutes long! And the best part is that much of the choreography is the original choreography from the movie. Enjoy!

Just curious, does anyone know the plot background for this clip? It’s a hilarious clip, and the location makes it even funnier, but I’m just wondering why it takes place on a football field with football players.
The Music Man is a favorite of mine. The summer between 8th and 9th grade I was in the chorus for a local youth production of it. Since then I have seen many versions of it. The only versions I haven’t liked are the movie with Kristin Chenoweth and another local production of it I saw that was poorly done. But I love the show and I love the music!
