Lee Mead Performs Any Dream Will Do

Published by Adam (Admin) at 5:40 pm under

This video clip is from the UK Reality TV show, Any Dream Will Do (a contest to find an actor to play Joseph in the West End production of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat). Lee Mead has just won the role, and is closing out the show by singing this song. He seems just a hair weak starting out (probably due to an extreme adrenaline rush), but he finishes out really strong. In my opinion, Lee did an excellent job on this piece. Enjoy!

About Lee Mead

Cool. They did something similar here on NBC for Grease. The Winners are going to play Sandy and Danny on broadway. I hope they continue with this. I like it and it’s an America’s got talent for people who like broadway music. Plus it gives the undedog a chance to score big.

Harmony, I also really enjoy these shows…I felt like that with Any Dream Will DO and with How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria, an excellent choice was made for the part. Plus, the shows are great fun to watch.

I wish I could have seen the Joseph one. I really like that musical and I love these shows where they give the nobodys a chance to shine.

Thank the Lord for that. Still, it’s more fun when you can watch it live on TV and vote for your favorite. LOL. But I do enjoy watching videos of stuff as well.

The entire show was awsome, and Lee was awsome in it. He really did deserve to win. He has an album coming out in November, but I think his first love is putting on a good show in the Adelphi every night.

I wish you well, Lee, and here’s to YOUR dreams coming true :)
