Just wanted to let you guys know that I will be making sponsored posts on this blog from time to time, through payperpost. Hopefully, this will allow me to justify spending more time making more posts on this blog. I’ve dropped off the number of posts lately since I was spending alot of time on the blog, but it’s hard to justify spending so much time on a blog with some income.
I don’t want sponsored posts to reduce the quality of the blog, though. Hence, I have created several rules that sponsored posts will follow on this blog.
All sponsored posts will be:
Noted as sponsored
Promoting a site that I feel is worthwhile
Sponsored posts will be relevant
About PayPerPost:
PPP is a platform which allows bloggers to publish sponsored posts on their blogs. From an advertiser perspective, sponsored blog posts can generate buzz and awareness, build traffic, and improve site popularity. From a blogger’s perspective, sponsored posts are a great way to fund your blogging efforts. Creating and maintaining a quality blog takes alot of time, and sponsored posts are a good way to fund your blog. The PPP system allows bloggers and advertisers to quickly and easily work together, benefiting both parties.
Overall, the show was well done and alot of fun. I was especially impressed with the barn dance scene.
Before the main show there was a 30 minute play written by one of the seniors called “The Unexpected Visitor”. (It was a non-musical play). It was a glimpse of a church (just before Christmas) that was so busy bickering over what color the choir robes should be and what committee should do what they had lost sight of what was important. The play had several great characters in it. I think structurally the play needs some work - it was just too much to properly cover in 30 minutes. Perhaps if it was lengthened and there was a moderator. But I think the play had some great stuff in it - great characters and some great comedy lines.
The acting in both shows was excellent, as were the stage sets. The music was good - I was especially impressed by the actress playing Millie - she had an excellent voice and played her character very well.
Fun times. Here’s a clip from the movie for your enjoyment:
So, I just saw the latest Disney musical, “Enchanted”. It’s the story of what happens when you bring the classic Disney princess, prince charming, and the evil witch and throw them into New York City. In short, hilarity ensues.
I must say, I doubt Enchanted will ever be viewed as a serious musical, but it is a boatload of fun. There are only three musical numbers in the film, but they are extravagant, fun, and very well done. I wanted to applaud after “That’s How You Know”.
The vocal performances are excellent. Overall, all the music has a highly polished, smooth feel.
Julie Andrews narrated the film. Idina Menzel played a main character, but did not sing or dance. Amy Adams did an excellent job as Giselle. James Marsden (Corny Collins in Hairspray) played the prince. Patrick Dempsey played the NY lawyer.
Overall, very enjoyable! Oh, I forgot to mention that there’s plenty of comedy in the first two-thirds of the movie…
